There are many people using VFP as a front-end to SQL Server. You can check Microsoft's Knowledge base and the MSDN Library. Both should contain many small samples of doing specific task like connecting using Trusted Connections or catching OUTPUT parameters from stored procedures.

Overall, you'll probably get the best results if you post a question about a specific problem either in the Visual FoxPro forum or here in the SQL Server forum.
