AFAIK, you're going to have to completely assume control of the printer, and not use the report writer for any of the printing functionality. This means creating your output using low-level file I/O or creating the output as a string and then creating aprint file using STRTOFILE(), and then copying the resulting file to the printer port (see my FAQ entry on how to copy a file to a printer port for a way of doing that in a reliable fashion.)
