HI,

I have an ADO connection to an external database across the network. If the query bombs out or takes too long I get a time out. This I expect. I have increased the Server.ScriptTimeout value.

However, if the system is taking too long and, prior to a timeout the user hits stop on their browser the server totally locks up. IIS no longer serves up pages.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Thanks,
Michael
