This could, of course, be caused by any of a number of things, but the first thing I would check would be my own code. In my (admittedly relatively limited) experience, VFP doesn't always do a thorough job of error trapping, and lets bad things happen when you do things that you shouldn't, and these often conclude with VFP crashing. It may just as likely be a bug in VFP, in which case if you do things a bit differently, the problem just *might* go away.


>The table header in one of my tables (always the same one) keeps getting corrupted. Our client has added about 8000 new records in this table and has had the error 5 times. Some times the first error that the user sees is a record out of range error. One time they got the windows illegal operation error. I have a procedure to rewrite the number of records to the header, but this only fixes some of the records. Others are still missing or corrupted.
