Actually, the VFP report writer has worked fine for me so far, even for advanced reports. But I have to admit that it gets really tricky every now and then. And I have to use tricks such as highly specialized GenRepoX drivers or temporaty tables.

This is very difficult, since it even varies on different printers and not just for different fonts. I experimented with this kind of stuff, but I gave it up eventually.
