Yves,
Let's be honest. From foxbase 2.1 to vfp6 versions, the only version I "skipped" is FP for Windows2.x. I only wrote one app with it so give no support to my customers. I use FP for DOS 2.x heavily and it doesn't have any problem with fast PCs (I could use up to 400Mhz though).
So, all I know about is from threads + MSDN KB. As far as I remember it's not only related with "divide by zero". I just thought it hopefully might cure your problem.
If it was FPD2.x I would suspect about 3 things at first (might apply to FPW too) :
1) Any tmpfiles set to a readonly or nonexistant drive-path.
2) A faulty RAM chip (my number 1 cause)
3) A virus infected exe (well just saw once [keypress]-but took my 2 hrs to discover).
Also time to time I happened to hit other minor hardware issues like overheating (it was on an NT machine that drove me crazy for hours and ceased as I removed the cover of case :) Even I would think of printer and video driver issues if none helps.
BTW I never thought other apps like office working flawlessly as an insurance for hardware being totally healthy. Thinking FPW needs 6 Mb of memory to work, I would also check RAM and swap sizes but it's unlikely nowadays :)
