It'll depend on what version of VFP you're working with; priot to VFP6, there were some problems with resolving where the mouse was on the secondary monitor. I used a dual monitor setup briefly under Win98 with VFP6, and things seemed to work; I found that it was easier and cheaper to buy a good 19" monitor like the ViewSonic PS790 and avoid the setup problems from having two video cards in my system, not to mention the desk space issues, especially since the majority of the stuff I work on in VFP is still in VFP5.

I used two Matrox cards (a G200 AGP and a Mystique 220) when I did this before; it's a good combination that works under both WIn98 and NT in dual monitor configuration. I'd look at the new ATI All-In-Wonder Pro based on the new chipset; the card is capable of supporting dual monitors, or sendng output to both a monitor and an NTSC display (the card has dual VGA heads on it).

I find it more convenient to run the G200 with the PS790 at 1280x1024x32 resolution.
