Mesa Vista Software is scheduled to release a new product in September called RAD SERVER that may be perfect for your VFP5 application.

RAD SERVER is a client/server utility that allows existing VFP5 and VFP6 applications with very few modifications to securely query remote data sources over the Internet (even through firewalls), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and modems with the help of a second computer running RAD SERVER. RAD SERVER can also be used locally as a means to add a security layer to existing applications that query sensitive data. RAD SERVER can also be used to add additional useful life to old PCs that are fast enough to run input forms but not fast enough to run the queries.
