If a set of replacement disks for the distribution kit is not available, and the downgrade option doesn't work out, why not find somebody who has the distribution kit and ask them build the EXE for you? This assumes you still have FPD2.6 itself to update the app with, and that you could get by with debugging and testing an APP (which as I recall you can build without the distribution kit) rather than an EXE. As I see it, this would be legal since they would simply be distributing the EXE back to you, which you would then distribute to your client.

For that matter, you can distribute an APP and use FOXR.EXE (or whatever it was called) to run it, as long as the 2.6 runtimes are already installed at the client site.
