Going back to the original post, a Media - tableA could have many Documents -tableC AND a Document - tableC could be on many medias - tableA; hence the many2many relation.

The business process says that when you delete a media - tableA you need to delete also all pertinent documents - tableC.

In order to put things in context:
a media is a container of documents ie: a folder, a disquette, a microfilm strip, etc.;
a document is a report, a letter, a memo, a picture, etc.

But since I have split the many2many relation with tableB I don't see how to setup the RI for the delete.
