Hi Mike (and Jim Booth)

I'm sorry this lasted so long, but better late than never...

That really seemed to be a solution to my problem (as also Jim friendly proposed). I hadn't realised importance of indexes and in fact, I had a long time a fallacy, that they don't work at all with the views.

However, during my tests I met another problem and I wonder, if you could have some proposal to it.
Our application is based on Codebook framework and in our biggest form we are using about 32 tables and 42 views (amount of views is bigger, because we have created separate views for different sorting orders of the data). Two of the tables are big and all other relatively small, but the opening of the form lasts forever. I doubt that in this specific case we are running out of memory and if it's so, is there anything else to do than try to split our form into the smaller parts? Or could the reason be something else?

Have a nice day,
Ilkka
