This is more of a general question in regards to software development/consulting firms. What are the best tactics outside of word of mouth referrals for marketing a software development company?
Obviously this is a pretty big topic but I'm trying to put together a marketing strategy that is the most effective on ROI.
Anyone have ideas they would like to share? The market where I am at seems to be drying up on Visual Foxpro development and some discussion has been made on moving the company even though the area we are located in has the some of the best in work/play.
