Hi Bruce,
Here is a method that works quite well for me. Create a new menu. Select Quick menu and remove all items except the view pad. Save the menu and add it to your project. Just before issuing the report modify command, do view.mpr. When in the report modify window the toolbarsds available for a report are now available from the view menu, as well as any other items normally found in this menu. When finished modifying ther report rember to reemove the menu pad.
