This command will return the temporary folder for the PC. If you use this sys command instead of hard coding, then you never have to worry about C:\TEMP being a true folder. If the sys command points to something other than the local drive chnage the assignment with "SET TEMP = C:\WINDOWS\TEMP" in the autoexec.bat or maybe Windows has a setting in Control Panel.
Thanks, it would be better to do it that way, but we have it set up so that if they don't have one, we create it. It's one of the network standards throughout our system that goes way beyond my group.
