I would definately create a ChangRates event to coordinate all the objects. Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll end up using an event. It just seems like it's a better way to handle the object interaction, especially in cases where it isn't obvious which object should be in charge of a process. I had already planned on using it in another area of my program, but in that instance it was pretty clear that I needed something like an event.
