I figured out the problem (at least for VFP 5.0). I stated playing with the properties of my form class and discovered that when I set Desktop to .T. the paste worked. The side effect is my forms that have top = 0 now cover up the system menu and toolbar. I think changing the top property of my forms is worth it to get a slick print screen. My next challenge is to get the VFP 3.0 version to work. Until the company upgrades the users to NT, we are stuck with 3.0. The PeekMessage API call I tried does not seem to do the same as DOEVENTS.
