Change the registry value to point to Outlook instead; without knowing where you have it installed or the name of the executable, I can't tell you how make the change needed to do this. You'll need to figure this out based on how Outlook is installed on the system.

You have another problem here, in that the user cna change this; in fact, as I remember, Eudora will ask the user every time its started if you want to make it the default mail program, and it'll alter the registry key back on its own.

All I did here was indicate the registry key that is involved in the default open action assicaited with mailto.

Several people have mentioned that there's a way to do this through Outlook; presumbly, it would be able to make the necessary change for you, since it obviously knows where it is installed and the name of the executable.
