Hi,

I distribute macros for Word 97 with my application, and sometimes am macro needs to be replaced with a new version. With Word v.6, it ws possible to create a macro to delete another macro, so that the new macro then could be copied to replace the old one.

Is not this possible in Word97, I have not found a way. I want to perform the update automatically, and not rely upon the user to perform the macro replacement manually!

Another problem: When I call Word97 from my VFP application, I find that after a while, a file named OFFITEMS.LOG located in the \WINDOWS directory has grown. When it grows to big, it slows down starting and closing of Word. I just dleyte the file from time to time, but why does the file grow, and how can it be prevented? The file cotains, among other things unknown to me, the names of the .DOC files I havce created.

Hope for some enlightenment.

Rolf
