I would like to dress up our applications by adding icons/bitmaps to our buttons. I would like to use Icons but when I put the filename of a 16x16 icon in the picture propertyof a button the icon is displayed at 32x32. However, if I do this to an image control the icon is displayed 16x16.

Should I be using Icons or BMP files within our application?
