I see below you said you downloaded VFP50A.EXE. I have no clue as to what that is. What I was talking about was a Service Pack 3 to Visual Studio 97, which VFP 5 was a part of. This service pack will update all the components of VS97, even if all you have is the VFP part. I suggest you try downloading that, as there should be no instructions to "copy over" anything. The SP will handle everything itself.
