I'm not sure how your current application is setup as far as what changes have to be made.
If your are talking about a VFP app that works with VFP tables, how much work you will have to do depends on how you developed your forms. If the control sources for your forms are views, then its a little easier. You have to change the view to access remote data, rather than local data.
If you don't use views, then you will have to implement them. Also if you are not using views, then there is probably some other work to do in the design. You will have to implement paramaterized views as data sources so you only require the necessary records to be retrieved from SQL.
