I have an existing report that needs to be turned into an ascii text file. I figured the easiest way to do this was to modify the existing report in conjunction with REPORT FORM myReport TO FILE myTextFile ASCII. Unfortunately I am having a difficult time with the vertical spacing. I am figuring 6 lines per inch, but am unable to get the report designer work. For example I put 24 lines (using courier 10 cpi, screen font) in 4 inches, but certain lines overwrite each other in the text file. To get all lines to come out in the text file, I have to space them out 4.5 inches in the report designer. When I print out the text file I see that it only takes 4 inches. My real issue here is how to determine the appropriate spacing in the report designer. Thanks for any feedback.

Marcus.
