Poking around for more information on Invalid Page Fault, KERNEL32, and memory leak errors, I stumbled across this site:

Be sure to follow the links to the excellent article by Ellen Ullman (paper published in Harpers Magazine) The Dumbing-down of Programming.

Reliable Software is a company started by Bartosz Milewski, a Polish programmer who designed the Index Server for MS. He thinks the whole garbage collection technique is the wrong approach and is pushing something he calls Resource Management. I'm not a C programmer and cannot critique it but he sounds convincing.

Why does this matter? Because FoxPro can be no more reliable than the underlying C code.
