Dan

I have an app that is opened and closed dozens of times a day in the worst conditions (restaurant offices) by people who know very little about computers. They leave files open and turn off the PC, or simply close the app. I, too, was experiencing corruption.

What I did was, I purchased FoxFix (I am not sure of the address, but I got it through HalloGram) originally to cure these problems, but I also use it to track the occurance of the corruptions. This is a libray that has a number of easy to use functions that both detect and repair most of the corruption encountered. (Indices are an exception)
