Once I learn it all, maybe I'll write a book called "So you wanna be a Webmaster?" :)

A couple years ago, I could of had CNA in my signature... Unfortunately, it was Certified Nursing Assistant. Not much good for a computer person. :)

I'm guessing yours has something to do with networks?

Well, I'll check out that site and keep hunting the web. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Thanks,

Michelle

>I hope there is a book like you have described. Let me know if you find it, I will buy it. Most books present I have seen approach the subject from a technology such as ASP or XML.

>>Actually, it was Yahoo that started me looking for a basic book. I decided I wanted to learn "Internet Programming". So I went to Yahoo looking for information and got overwhelmed. There's so many websites that I don't know where to start. I want to know things like "What's the difference between CGI and active server pages?" "What the heck is 'COM'?" "What's XML?" "How do all these different technologies fit together? Do you use them all in one site, or are they different ways of doing the same thing? Are any passee? Do they work with all browsers?"

>>See, basic, pull it all together stuff, rather than instruction on how to use each individual technology.
