I seem to recall that we can email foxwish@microsoft.com for issues like this. However, getting VFP to 'break' the 2GB linit _may_ be one of those issues that will never happen. APparently one of the methods that the Fox Software developers used to gain some of the incredible speed of FoxPro was to place what would essentially be record offsets at place in memory that would collide with a DBF exceeding the 2GB limit. Changing this would require a MAJOR overhaul of VFP's performance model and while I'd LOVE for this to happen it's not something I'm banking on.

NT has some huge limit on file sizes. Many hundreds of gigabytes, perhaps even terabytes.

The NT file size issue is taken care of. It's the VFP file size limitation that causes us trouble.
