I have a development server that I use for prototyping, testing stored procedures, etc. I've been manually copying data and procs between the servers to get the development environment to reflect the actual production environment.

I'm curious how other developers do this. Replication? Scheduled task? Bcp? The development data does not have to be very consistent, but the procedures do. If I modify a stored procedure on the production server, I often forget to make the same change on the development server. I'd like the data to be roughly the same when I test triggers and so forth.
