>Hi Dave,
>Don't feel like your alone. I have a form with 2 combo's they both set the _dblclick in the gotfocus and restore it in the lost focus. The first one works perfectly but when the second one gets focus you can type all day and NOTHING shows up in it. You have to tab out of it and back into it and it works perfectly to. Haven't yet figured it out, I do know all properties in both are the same. If you figure it out let me know if you would.

Have you tried just taking out the _dblclick stuff? That's what I did, and it cleared up my problems. Unfortunately, this means users have to be a little quicker fingered (a lot quicker fingered, actually) to utilize the interactive search facility of my drop downs.

I suspect the _dblclick setting is interacting with some other attribute (buffering??) in a subtle way because lengthening _dblclick seems to be an accepted way of operating and I'm pretty sure, most people aren't encountering the problems we're seeing.
