>I am developing an app that will eventually move to SQL Server. All of my forms look at local views and the views look at a VFP DBC. Eventually the VFP DBC will go away and become a SQL Server equivalent. My question is if a view has a UDF where should I put the UDF? Does it go in the stored procedures of the view DBC or the VFP DBC or somewhere else?

What does the UDF do? If it is for data manipulations that are VFP specific, then they should go in the VFP DBC. But most applications I can thing of might be more at home as stored procedures in the server database.
