I just created a very small exe and ran it in VFP. It used 9.8MB of RAM, so I don't think you are going to gain much ram no matter what you try. BTW, a 128MB ram is around $1/MB right now. $128.00 is a lot less than it would cost to get the app reconfigured to save 1 or 2 megs.
