Setting grid column's sparse property to .F. will make the current control the combo box show in every row of the grid regardless of whether the cell is active or not. When I had the column's sparse set to .T., it works very well when the RrecordSource is not huge. It only shows the combo for the active cell. The non-active cell are displaying the desired "desc" in the column. However, when
the RecrodSource of the grid is a big file, it is not consistently displaying the "desc" in the column. Sometimes, the "desc" are missing but if I scroll up and down of the grid, the "desc" come back.
That is really very strange!
