>>George, what book did you read to become so knowledgable of API calls? Have you thought writing a "How to API From VFP" book?

>All I do is poke around the Win32 SDK, Fred. As for a book, I don't know. There's so much to the API (2,000+ functions in Win 95/98 alone and more in NT), that it could hardly be comprehensive.

>My pleasure, Fred. BTW, there's the Win32 Super Bible (or something like that) for more information on the API.

My favorite; the actual title is Thw Windows NT WIN32 API Super Bible, by Richard Simon. Another one is Dan Appleman's Visual BASIC Programmer's Guide to the Win32 API, which takes things from the VB POV, and is incredibly well-written. Another is Windows 98 Developer's Handbook by Ezzell and Blaney.
