Whatever "it" is, from the context that I have seen it it means that updates are integrated into the shrinkwrapped product.
So, for instance, if you bought early, you get the original for sure, but if you buy sometime later you may well get an updated version.
Now Craig B. says there is only SP3, so it looks like my SWAG was exactly that, and a bad one too.
