I am baffled and frustrated, please help?? I have used the

REPORT FORM MYREPORT.FRX NOCONSOLE PREVIEW

command countless times (VFP 6.0 under NT4) in the development environment, and now for the first time needed to include a report preview capability in a simple app I am developing. I CANNOT get the preview window to appear. I have struggled with the terms MDI, SDI top-level forms, hiding the main VFP window, etc etc etc.... and have even tried to use the Gen RepoX product, which contained a statement that I found very troubling:

"VFP cannot display a preview in a top-level form. Neither can GenRepoX. But it can at least make it look a lot nicer."

HOLD ON A MINUTE HERE!!!!

Could it be that one of the most basic, fundamental, essential things one might include in an app - to preview a report on the screen - is NOT DOABLE IN VFP??

I have spent way too many hours messing around with form properties, SCREEN=OFF in the CONFIG.FPW, hiding/unhiding the VPF desktop, etc... PLEASE don't tell me I have to start all over and use Crystal Reports... or consider DELPHI??? HELP!!!
