David,

Sorry...I pushed the wrong button so the last reply was a bogus message.

Actually, I'm having a problem unrelated to this thread, but something you said in this one, relates to the problem. In this thread, you said:

>I don't have much in my first level classes.
> ... (snip)
>cCombobox - I save/alter/restore _DBLCLICK in GotFocus/LostFocus, Added an array property and methods like SQL and GetArray to support lookups.
> ....

I'm currently having a problem in my combolist that's caused by altering _dblclick in just the manner you describe above. I describe the problem in thread #256914 'Torpedoed by the evil _dblclick'.

The thread's been up for a day or so and at least one other person is having similar problems, but since none of the heavies have weighed in on the topic yet, and since you do apparently modify _dblclick in gotfocus without problems, I was hoping you wouldn't mind a specific request to peruse the thread I mentioned and respond.

(also, I think I get a little strident re: 'hiding' and OOP so please accept my apologies. It was the end of a long frustrating day!)
