My form is pretty simple, 2 combo's, 2 textboxes, and a couple of labels. I tested on just a form with 2 combos and got the same behavior. Like I said before, whichever combo got focus first performed the incremental search properly. I still set the first combo in the got/lost focus, then the second in the interactivechange/lost.

As far as losing data later, I'm just storing a couple of part numbers and cust_id's, printing the shippers then tossing the values when finished. So that's not critical in this application.
