>>>>>>Planning a trip to Cancun in October and just wondering if anyone has any ideas on the best way to retrieve email and do a little surfing. Currently, I am using Mindspring for internet access but they have no access numbers in Cancun. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

>>Why don't you create a thread and ask someone who has an AOL account to check and see if there is a local access number in Cancun? If there is, set up an account with AOL and use that to get your email. I believe you get 100 hours free before you are charged a monthly fee. When you get back, cancel your membership.

>Thanks for the reply. You think like I do. I've already sent an email to AOL regarding a local access number in Cancun. If they do, that's exactly what I'm going to do. I checked Compuserve, since I already have a membership to it, and they don't have a number in Cancun, but they do in other parts of Mexico.

What does Compuserve charge a month? I have an AOL account, but it is hard to log onto between 7pm and 10pm.
