Thanks for the reply. I am trying to avoid INI's in development.
Mainly because I would have to update them all the time
during testing (one for thing to do...). Please see my reply
to Michel on other reasons.

I am really looking for a 'cool' tip because in development
so much is only temorary (testing) that I do not want to
create more work -- or even worse -- forget to make the INI
changes all the time.

Yes I understand above but I guess I have just run into a
'dream' instead of a wish. IOW, I think I hit into one
of those old DOS limitation (UNIX also).
