>Still, it says "Visual Studio 6.0a Edition".. as if there is a 6.0a version of VS. You know me Craig, I keep up with this stuff pretty closely and I was surprised to see 6.0a, that's why I asked about it. So, users/clients asking about it will get what answer? I have a client who keeps an eye on this stuff too, and has MSDN subscription at his company. Every time there has been a new version or SP since VFP 3.0 he has contacted me about getting his system "upgraded", he's pretty fanatical about it.

But the actual VS disks say "Visual Studio 6.0". We also have to remember that there are several MS groups involved here, and as is typical at MS, one group apparently is not talking to the other.
