Yes I am using SQL pass through to access the data. I only want some of the fields and filtered data. The SQL code is much faster than a conventional connection. After I retreive my cursor of data I copy it to a table in my database(one data source downloads approx 41000 records). I then use this data to compare to other data in local tables. The remote data changes very often. So I need to see the new data about evey 15 minutes or so. I don't change the remote data, I only use it to base my local data on. I know there is probably a much better way but my knowledge is limited.
