Thanks, but I didn't wan't the record pointer move. I could do a

SKIP 1
SKIP -1

and that repositions the child to the new record, or

GO RECNO()

too, but I don't really want to move. It was more curiousity really, it works fine with the GO RECNO() thing. Thanks Ken, haven't seen you in while by the way, nice new picture.
