I sent a response to Marty; probably should have sent it to you! Your code sample (in msg # 236637) caused an error something like "SDICLASS not found". Can you help me out? Please forgive my ignorance as I indicated in my message to Marty; my VFP experience is primarily with the form designer and plain ole method code; I am not an OOP heavy (but hope someday to be able to be as helpful to others as you have been to me!) <s>
