we have an nt server4.0 on netbeui and have several vfp 5 apps running 24/7. occasionally the application will go to access data and will get an "error reading file" or "error writing to file" I noticed that about 80% of the time there is an entry in the NT event viewer just prior to the error. I talked to MS about and they suggested we go to tcp/ip. We tried that on a test machine, but still got the errors. I and many of the vfp and NT users I have corresponded with have narrowed it to an NT or general network issue.
Can anyone help us here???
