I got the impression that HTTPCom was more for use in HTTP applications than in web servers. it seems to me that it would have the same pitfalls, because the method in HTTPCom that "runs" a COM method has to know the name of the server and the name of the method. If you could compile the code into an exe, you could hide all of this. I think HTTPCOM could be VERY dangerous to someone implementing it carelessly. It's a really cool concept though- run server methods on the client without messing with DCOM. Sounds good to me.
