Hi Michelle ---

Welcome back! Haven't seen your smilin' face for a while :-)

>How good do you have to be to have a prayer? I think I know VFP fairly well, but I'm no expert. And I don't know client/server and things like that. I've never taken a certification test. Is there a lot of stuff beyond basic VFP syntax?

I would say that you have to be a professional, moderately skilled and "intuitive" VFP developer. After all, you gain the title "Microsoft Certified Developer" if you pass. Look at it this way: Take the beta exam when it is offered (and I'll let you all know as soon as I am able) and if you don't pass, at least you'll have a darn good idea where you're lacking and may well pass the second time.

I second everything Craig said in his post.
