I use HASP keys with good results. There are different models: for single machines, 5 user licences, etc., including one which runs for a limited time. I must say, though that frequently my FPD application has problems finding the key in the net. I think that it works better for VFP. Since each key costs you, they are best for higher value products.
There was also a thread here not too long ago that spoke of a product that through encryption allowed limited use and they by entering a key, the user activates product. However, although an interesting product, it doesn't provide copy protection. Perhaps both methods can be combined for best results.
