Hi Charlie ---

>Do you use a prefix for all names? I can't remember, but certainly there are many who agree that it's unnecessary for fieldnames and some add in properties.

For all names, no. I use object type prefixes and variable type prefixes only. I don't use scoping prefixes unless the variable does not scope Local, which are 99% of my vars. I don't use prefixes in field names. I rarely use prefixes in property names unless there are two properties of the same name for whatever reason holding two different values, like lWasPosted and dWasPosted.

I am meticulous, maybe to the point of being anal-retentive about object name prefixes. I do vary from generally-accepted naming in 2 circumstances: I generally use "pg" for Pages, not "pag" and I use either "cbo" or "lbo" for Comboboxes depending on if the style setting is combo box or drop-down list.
