Try this: rename it to hosed_etc in the PM. Make sure the SCT and SCX are really renamed. Create a new form called ABEDIT. Save and close it. USE ABEDIT.SCX. Zap it. APPEND FROM hosed_abedit.scx.

See if you can MODIFY it.

What version of VFP? 5? 6?
