I'm having problems displaying an image from a database field.

Initially I've been using an ole control, but I'm running into problems with my users not having software associated with the file extensions to display the images.

The image control doesn't allow you to set a control source.

Is there a way to save the data from my general field to a file so I can then set the image controls picture to this file?

or

Is there an easier way to display an image in a database general field without relying on another application to display it?
