I have many grids that use a local view. The grids are used like a listbox to select the "whatever type of record" I want to edit in a series of controls below the grid. When a new record is added, an append blank causes a blank record to appear in the grid. My problem is that under some circumstance, the blank record is visually the "1st record" of the grid, while at other times, it is visually the "last record" on the grid. This seems to be controlled by where the record pointer was in the view when the append blank was issued.

Can anyone suggest a technique to get the blank to visually appear at the same place each time a record is appended?
